The music of King Crimson is celebrated by a group of musicians that are less "tribute band" more "supergroup"! Legendary guitarist Steve Vai and Tool drummer Danney Carey join former King Crimson members Adrian Belew and Tony Levin to tour a show performing the best bits from the legendary prog-rockers' three 1980s entries, Discipline, Beat and Three of a Perfect Pair... plus potentially a few surprises!
It may come as a surprise to learn that Australian Pink Floyd is one of the most in-demand touring bands of the moment, so good at what they do that it is said that even David Gilmour asked them to play at his 50th Birthday bash. This is no small tribute act, but a high-octane audio-visual exploration of the music of Pink Floyd featuring highly skilled musicians and a lighting show that's second to none.
British rock icons Queen graced us with some of the greatest songs ever written. Almost Queen are America's premier tribute act, featuring Joseph Russo as Freddie Mercury, Steve Leonard as Brian May, Randy Gregg as John Deacon, and John Cappadona as Roger Taylor. Their shows are pitch-perfect recreations of the band, from their music to their costumes and stage demeanor.
Pop, jazz, over seventy albums, twenty Grammy's, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame all add up to an incredible career of a spectacular artist. We are, of course, referring to the man, the myth, the legend, Tony Bennet. The charismatic king of big band ballads will be celebrated this fall with a countrywide tour, as Broadway stars perform his greatest hits with a full orchestra in tow. The night will even include rare and never-before-seen footage from his estate!
Michael Feinstein, the multi-platinum-selling, five-time Grammy-nominated entertainer dubbed "The Ambassador of the Great American Songbook," is considered one of the world's foremost interpreters of American standards, especially for Irving Berlin's work. His 200-plus shows a year have included performances at Carnegie Hall, Sydney Opera House and the Hollywood Bowl as well as the White House and Buckingham Palace in London.
The Urban Dictionary defines as 'Getting the Led out' as: 'It basically means that you are rocking out to some Led Zeppelin which is probably the best band ever to grace our Earth.' On a mission to bring the legend of Plant, Page et al to the stage, this is no ordinary tribute show. Passionate about the 'Zep, these guys are committed to playing you the tunes in with the greatest respect and musicianship, whilst sharing the Led love.
