The countdown to Memphis's annual "Hot Wang Festival" gets down to the last few days, and the atmosphere in Cordell's kitchen is reaching a fever pitch. Determined to secure victory in the competition, an unexpected visit from the nephew of Cornell's boyfriend's starts a series of events which threatens to tear their efforts apart and truly test their interpersonal relationships.
Directed by Christopher D. Betts, this is The Hot Wing King, a joyful comedy-drama which won the Pulitzer Prize in 2021. Written by Katori Hall (Tina: The Tina Turner Musical, The Mountaintop) it's a celebration of the trials, tribulations and general chaos of unconventional friends and family.
