Depicting racial segregation in 20th Century America, Two Trains Running tells the story of the black American migration to Northern states in order to escape the harsh Jim Crow Laws and how years later, they were still affected by this move. The play was first performed in 1990 before entering Broadway in 1992 and then becoming a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for drama.
